Crab is the best bait but rag has its moments
Fish 3 hook paternosters with size 2 hooks
No need for heavy gear as a steady pull will retrieve
Long casts are not necessary
Point Net is easy access and fish up river of the old net posts (do not venture on to the mud)
The old harbour is okay for access but involves a walk to the best flounder and bass mark
The airfield involves a walk to the end and you arrive at a wall with really deep water at high tide (watch out for the planes)
Remember any Sea Trout or Salmon caught in the estuary should be returned unless you have the relevant documentation
