The lads made the trek North-West in search of the Spurdogs which have so far eluded them from the depths of Loch Sunart.
It was nice to see four new Club members turn out to fish this one, as well as guest Kenny Graham.
This was an enjoyable day, but tinged with a little disappointment as the Spurries failed once again to show in any numbers. In fact only two were boated on the day, the largest of which weighed in at 6lb for Kenny Rodgers. It was also a little strange how few dogfish appeared on the day.
A few nice Conger did show to raise the spirits, with the heaviest fish, an Eel of some 13lbs for Kenny Graham.
Top bag on the day was Robert MacRae with a bag of doggies and a nice 10lb Conger.
